The State of Texas Government Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services. Acknowledgements or Proofs (first signature) – $10.00 *Each additional signature in same document – $1.00 An Acknowledgement or Proof of Acknowledgement is a certification that a signer personally appeared before the notary, was identified by the notary, and formally declared to the notary that the signer willingly signed the document for its intended purpose. The additional signatures would be each additional signature after the first one Certificates and Seals to a Protest – $4.00 A certificate by the notary public who performed the notarial procedures for a protest. Administering an Oath or Affirmation – $10.00 Administers an oath or affirmation to a witness in a deposition. Certifying a Photocopy – $10.00 A certificate or endorsement that the document is a true copy of the primary document. Protests – $4.00 *Each additional signature – $1.00 A protest is a certificate of dishonor under the hand and seal of a United States consul or vice consul or a notary public or other person authorized to certify dishonor by the law of the place where dishonor occurs. All Other Notarial Acts – $10.00 Includes any other notarial acts of completing a certificate and seal not otherwise stated. Certified Copy of Notarial Record – $1.00 per page

Scanning & Emailing of general notary documents $3.00 Loan Document Scan-back up to 50 pages – $25.00 Document Scan-back over 50 pages – $35.00 Document Drop Off – $25.00 Mail Out Service – $15.00 Printing up to 150 pages – $20.00 Additional pages after the 150 are billed at $0.10 each whether or not the signing is completed. Holiday Service Fee – $30.00 No Show, Late, Cancellation, or Unable to Complete Transaction – $50.00 This transaction will be charged for situations including customers that do not show up to the appointment, do not provide at least 6 hours notice for the cancellation, lack of witnesses available when required, late arrival of more than 15 minutes, proof of identity issues resulting in transaction failure, and customers that are unwilling or unable to complete the transaction for whatever reason.
